Hispanic Chamber Welcomes New Leadership
ORLANDO, Fla. – (February 26, 2014) – Community and business leaders welcomed in the new leadership team of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) at the organization’s 22nd annual installation luncheon where Walt Disney World was a lead sponsor. Cast Members from Walt Disney World were in attendance, including Lourdes Mola, Manager of Minority Business Development who was sworn-in as vice-chair elect.
As a founding trustee, Disney supports the chamber as part of its ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion and recognizes the significant role Latinos play in the Central Florida community and economy. “We understand the growing vitality of the Latino community and we embrace the opportunity to partner with the chamber to help you grow, succeed, and build your capacity for success,” said Nancy Gidusko, director of Community Relations and Minority Business Development for Walt Disney World Resort.
Giorgina Pinedo-Rolón was installed as the chair of the chamber’s board along with new board members for 2014. The theme of luncheon, “Working For You”, highlighted the chamber’s mission to work for local Hispanic businesses and entrepreneurs. During the event Pinedo-Rolón shared what she envisions for the chamber in the upcoming year. “I will continue to work to ensure that the Hispanic business community of this region finds in this chamber the resources and tools necessary to excel and succeed.”
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1993 to provide leadership and support the economic development of the Hispanic business community of Orlando and Central Florida.
