Westgate Smokehouse Grill Receives TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

Smokehouse Grill Continues To Garner Recognition For Its Award-Winning Barbeque, Restaurant

The Westgate Smokehouse Grill at the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa has once again shown itself to be home to world-class barbeque in its latest achievement. TripAdvisor, a renowned travel and review site, has awarded the Westgate Smokehouse Grill with a Certificate of Excellence for “consistently earning top ratings from TripAdvisor travelers”.

Now in its fourth year, the Certificate of Excellence showcases establishments that consistently retain outstanding reviews on the TripAdvisor website. For a restaurant to qualify for these awards, they must meet very stringent standards. Specifically, award recipients must maintain a four out of five rating from customers who rate their restaurant on TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor utilizes a mathematical formula to determine relevant reviews that best assess the restaurant’s tenure and popularity.

“We are extremely excited to be recognized by TripAdvisor,” stated Mike Lodge, Food and Beverage Director for the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa, “We pride ourselves on providing an unforgettable dining experience coupled with outstanding customer service. Our team members put their utmost effort in producing a mouthwatering menu of fantastic food – and it shows.”

This is not the first time that Westgate Smokehouse Grill has been recognized by the community for its excellent eats. It was a runner-up in the 2014 Orlando Sentinel Foodie Awards for Best Barbeque. The Smokehouse Grill has also racked up its fair share of wins, including: America Online’s Best Barbeque in Orlando, 2013 Editor’s Choice Award for Orlando Eats Magazine, Best Food Award for the Central Florida Chef’s Association, and Winner of Best Barbeque at the Gatlinburg Ribfest.
